Feel free to use this site as your teaching guide to help you learn more about Linux.

SEARCH

To search for specific information on this site, you can enter it in the Search field and click on the Search button at the bottom of the Home page.

COMMENTS

You are welcome to provide any feedback to any posts as this site will always strive to better serve its audience so that Linux may be more widely adopted.  Just click on the Comments link at the bottom of the post.  You need to be a subscriber to comment.

SPREAD THE WORD

If you enjoy what you are reading and learning, feel free to share this site and its posts with your friends.  At the bottom of each post are social network icons: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin and Tumbler.  Just click on it and log into your social network account and it will display on your account news feed.  The very last icon is an envelope icon, which allows you to share via email. So don't be shy if you like what you read. The more the merrier!

SUBSCRIBE

There are several ways to subscribe to this site.  The first way is to type your email address, first name and last name and click on the blue "SIGN UP" buttom on the Home page or enter your email and click on the white "SUBSCRIBE" button at the end of one of the posts.  If you don't want to provide your email address, you can click on the orange button at the end of one of the posts to "Subscribe via RSS".

FOLLOW ME ON YOUTUBE

Click on the red YouTube icon at the bottom of any post to subscribe to my YouTube Channel.  This Channel features HOW-TO Tutorials with Ubuntu and Linux Mint.

FOLLOW ME ON GOOGLE+

Click on the middle g+ icon at the bottom of one of the posts to follow my Google+ profile.  Every time there's a new post, it will be posted to this profile so you will receive the newsfeeds if you're one of my followers.  If there's enough interest in a particular topic related to Linux, I will conduct a Google Hangout (live broadcast) with followers to answer Linux questions or do some demonstrations on my Linux desktop.

CATEGORIES

On the Home page, there is a Categories section which lists specific Linux Distributions such as Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Android, etc.  You can click on those links to see topics under each Distribution.  There's a category called "Announcements" which posts general news related to this site.  For example, if the website is undergoing changes it will be posted under "Announcements".

LABELS

At the bottom of each page, there is a labels section which lists all the tags used for all posts on this site.  This is an easy way to reference posts related to the tag.

MY LINUX BLOG

In the sidebar section of this site, you will see an area called My Linux Blog. This is where you will find live RSS feeds directly from my blog about my experiences with Linux and my opinions about anything related to Linux.  You can also access my blog from the gray RSS icon next to the YouTube icon at the bottom corner of the Home page.

LINUX FRIENDLY VENDORS

This is one of the tabs located at the top of the Home page.  It lists Vendors who specialize in supplying Linux laptops, accessories and peripherals to help you transition more smoothly to Linux as a desktop OS.  If you are already familiar with Android touch devices, you should find the transition to Linux on the desktop much easier than you think since the File system is the same. I go into detail on the File system in some of my YouTube tutorials.
